How to Set Up QuickList: Complete eBay AI Listing Setup Guide

What You'll Need

You only need two things to get started:

• An eBay account
• About 5 minutes of your time

Step 1: Link Your eBay Account

In order to get started, you need to link your eBay account to QuickList. This is handled on eBay's secure servers and QuickList never sees your eBay credentials.

How to do it:

1. Navigate to Account Settings in QuickList
2. Click "Link eBay Account" in the eBay Connection section
3. You'll be redirected to eBay to authorize QuickList

Tip: Make sure you're signed into the correct eBay account before authorizing. QuickList can only connect to one eBay account at a time. If you need to connect a different account, you can disconnect the current account here.

Step 2: Fill Out Basic Settings

In order to properly create listings, you need to set your marketplace, timezone, and postal code, as QuickList is supported in multiple regions. These settings are required for all listings and ensure your listings display correctly to buyers.

How to do it:

1. Navigate to Account Settings in QuickList
2. In the eBay Settings section, set your Marketplace, Timezone, and Postal Code
3. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page

Step 3: Create Business Policies

Business policies are saved logistic preferences that save you time when creating listings. If you are not already using them, now is the time to start.

How to do it:

1. In eBay Settings, scroll to the "Business Policies" section
2. Click "Create Business Policies" (or click here)
3. In eBay, create the following policies:
   • Shipping Policies: These include your shipping services, shipping costs, handling time, and international shipping options.
   • Payment Policy: Your preferred payment methods and payment instructions (most likely eBay Payments).
   • Return Policy: Your return preferences including return period (ie: 30 days), who pays return shipping, and refund method.
4. Once completed, return to QuickList and refresh the page
5. Your policies should appear in their respective dropdowns:
   • Select one or more Shipping Policies you want to use when creating listings
   • Select your Payment Policy
   • Select your Return Policy
6. Click "Save Changes"

Tip: Create multiple shipping policies for different scenarios (lightweight items, heavy items, caclulated, flat rate) to give you flexibility when creating listings

Next Steps: Creating Your First Listing

Once setup is complete, you're ready to create your first listing! Here's what to do:

1. Click "Create Listing" in your QuickList dashboard
2. Upload your photos
3. Click Generate Listing

Tip: Consider creating a listing template (available in Account Settings) to save even more time on future listings. Templates let you pre-fill common details like descriptions, and custom-prompt the AI according to your title structure preferences.
